I have always had two wardrobes. I don’t mean literally but being British Indian, there have always been western clothes and Indian clothes equally dividing my cupboard space. My western wardrobe is full of my work outfits and casual gear, which is how I dress day-to-day. Then along comes a big family event, wedding or a religious ceremony and out come my sarees, lehengas and salwar kameez. Both Sukh and I have huge extended families and so I must admit, with all the events I have, my Indian wardrobe is getting bigger by the day. And of course, I don’t just have my wardrobe to worry about. I’ve got to kit out the kids too to cover all the events I’ve just spoken about.

Here I will talk about specific events, my go-to outlets for Indian wear as well as general fashion observations. There will be lots and lots of colourful photos so I hope you enjoy!
