We holidayed in California over the Easter holidays this year. We regularly vacation in the States and California is a regular destination on our list. There are some places we visit on each trip, like Universal Studios Hollywood.
That’s a must-do every time we go because we’re huge fans of the theme park. In fact, while you’re here, you might want to check out our vlogs from Universal Studios Orlando and Universal Island’s Of Adventure.
Whenever we visit California, we stay with Sukh’s uncle and his family. We use that as a base, hire a car on each trip and travel around the state. This time we pretty much stayed local (apart from our trip to Coachella).
ABOUT PINK’S
When I was doing my research, as I do with all of my holidays, I cam across Pink’s, a roadside spot in LA. It’s been going for 79 years and draws huge queues each and every day. They now have a chain of stores all over America.
I was surprised to see how close it is to major Hollywood studios like Paramount, Universal and Disney. The celebrity wall of fame in the dining room was reason enough alone to check it out. The walls are filled with over 200 photos of celebrities.
A POPULAR TOURIST SPOT
The restaurant has been featured in movies, TV shows, the food channel, the travel channel and travel books! Having read all of this, I knew it had to be worth a visit.
So if all of that hasn’t got your mouth watering, then check out how we feasted at the original Pink’s.
