In August 2017, we took a big summer holiday to Florida, and Busch Gardens quickly became a highlight of our trip. If you’re planning a visit, here’s how to make the most of your day at this thrilling theme park!

Before diving into the excitement, kick off your adventure with a shopping spree at the nearby outlets. We found some fantastic deals on clothes and souvenirs, which set a fun tone for the days to come. Plus, it’s a great way to prepare for all the thrilling rides ahead. Trust me, you’ll want comfortable shoes!

Arrive Early

Get to Busch Gardens early to maximise your time. We arrived right when the park opened and it made a huge difference. The crowds were lighter, which meant shorter wait times for the rides. Nothing beats that first rush of excitement as you stroll in and see the park come to life!

Once inside, head straight for the rollercoasters! Busch Gardens is famous for its thrilling rides and we couldn’t wait to experience them. Our first stop was Sheikra, and wow, what a way to kick things off! With its heart-pounding drops and steep climbs, it was a ride that set the bar high for the rest of the day.

After that, we zoomed through the twists and turns of Cheetah Hunt. This ride is a must for adrenaline junkies; the speed and unexpected drops kept us screaming with delight! And if you’re up for even more excitement, Montu is another rollercoaster you shouldn’t miss. It’s a perfect blend of speed and inversions that left us breathless.

Don’t Forget the Family-Friendly Rides

Busch Gardens isn’t just for thrill-seekers. We also made sure to check out some family-friendly attractions. Cobra’s Curse was a fantastic mix of thrills and fun, with a unique spinning element that kept us entertained. And we couldn’t resist the splashy adventure of Congo River Rapids. Nothing beats the laughter of getting soaked together, especially on a hot Florida day!

Take a Break and Explore Animal Exhibits

With all that excitement, don’t forget to take breaks and explore the beautiful animal exhibits. We loved wandering through the park to see animals like lions, giraffes, and kangaroos. It’s a great way to recharge your energy and enjoy the stunning surroundings. Plus, who doesn’t love a cute animal encounter?

Stay Hydrated and Refuel

Amid all the fun, remember to stay hydrated! We made sure to carry water bottles and took breaks to grab snacks throughout the day.
