Taste of Punjab in Kissimmee found us before we found them | ad - giftedTurns out they follow mine and my nephew Steven’s sangeet wedding entertainment business - got a message from them on Instagram out of nowhere, inviting us down. Slightly surreal getting that kind of love from the other side of the world.Family-run, started by two brothers back in 2011. The butter chicken recipe is the owner Gagan’s grandmother’s - the one that started the whole thing.📍 What we had:
• Tandoori chicken, aloo tikki chaat + veg kulcha (best kulcha I’ve had, genuinely)
• Lamb, chicken, tadka dal and saag for mains
• Garlic naan, lachha paratha & makki di roti
• Mango lassi + Sukh’s obligatory lime soda
• A table already laid with snacks before we’d even arrivedGagan’s pick for the signature dish? The saag. Hard to argue with him.Cravings very much sorted. My family and I spent 48 hours checking out this spot, and it honestly blew us away. Having a full kitchen and an in-room washer and dryer makes travelling as a family so much easier!
Here are a few quick takeaways from our stay:
The Suite: Super comfy living area, a private balcony overlooking the pool, and one of the comfiest beds I have ever slept in.
On-Site Amenities: A private, exclusive pool deck with plenty of sunbeds, a very well-equipped gym, and the @a.marketonolive right in the lobby for quick snacks, drinks, and breakfast.
Unbeatable Location: Extremely walkable! We literally left our car parked in the garage for the entire trip and walked everywhere, especially to the lively bars and restaurants on @clematis_street.

As of July 1st, Universal officially pulled the Express Pass from Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure at Islands of Adventure. 🏍️✨I am giving you my honest thoughts on whether Universal made the right decision, plus a few of my top tips on how to ride it:* Single Rider Line: If you don’t want to wait in the main standby queue and don’t mind your party being split up, try Single Rider. We used this on one of our turns, and it dropped our wait time down to 40 minutes instead of 55!* Go Before Midday: Wait times generally seemed a lot lower earlier in the day, so it is best to aim for the morning if you can.* Set App Wait Time Alerts: In the official Universal app, you can set a target wait time for the ride. If the queue drops down to a number you are willing to wait, the app sends a notification directly to your phone.Just a quick disclaimer: these tips are based on my own observations from our visits during peak season in July.
