If you’re short on time but want to experience the best, visiting two Disney parks in one day is totally doable. Our day at Epcot and Hollywood Studios was packed with fun, and I’m sharing my top tips for planning your perfect double-park adventure.
Plan Your Day with Lightning Lane
Since July 2024, Disney has replaced Genie+ with Lightning Lane, which makes your day much easier. You can pre-book up to three attractions per park per day with the Lightning Lane Multi Pass. This means less time in lines and more time enjoying rides.
For the most popular rides, like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at Epcot or Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Hollywood Studios, you’ll want to book Lightning Lane Single Passes in advance. If budget allows, the Premier Pass offers front-of-line access to all eligible rides — perfect for a stress-free day.
So let’s dive into the best way to make the most of two Disney parks in a day.
Morning at Epcot: Start with the Highlights
Arrive early to make the most of your time at Epcot. Head straight to popular rides like Frozen Ever After and Soarin’ Around the World. Use your Lightning Lane bookings wisely here, as these rides can get very busy.
Between rides, explore the World Showcase for unique food and cultural experiences. Remember to stay hydrated and use sunscreen, especially if you’re outdoors for long periods. For more tips on keeping cool, check out my blog post on how to stay cool and comfortable to enjoy Orlando.
Afternoon and Evening at Hollywood Studios
After lunch, it’s time to hop over to Hollywood Studios. Thanks to the Lightning Lane system, you can pre-book your top rides like Slinky Dog Dash and Tower of Terror.
Don’t miss the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge area — it’s a must-see for any Disney fan. End your day by catching the spectacular nighttime show for a magical finish.
